After our initial coverage of the leaked images of the iPhone 18 Pro design models, we now get our first look at some hands-on videos of Apple’s upcoming flagships – or at least a plastic version of them.
Some new hands-on videos have surfaced, showcasing the successors to the iPhone 17 Pro in a slightly better light, literally. The overall design of the back is expected to be similar to last year’s model as detailed earlier. But these new videos provide a clearer, perhaps more practical idea of what the new color lineup will look like

The video posted on Weibo gives us a look at the Black, Silver, Light Blue and Dark Cherry models. Meanwhile, the video attached below shows the Light Blue and Dark Cherry options. The latter (reportedly the lineup’s new hero color) stands out, appearing as a deep, wine-inspired red shade.
The real iPhone 18 Pro models will, of course, reflect the light differently, as they are expected to use the same brushed aluminum-glass combo as the iPhone 17 Pro, as far as materials go (that’s despite rumors of a return to titanium).
- iPhone 17 Pro colors: Silver, Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange
- iPhone 18 Pro colors: Silver, Black, Light Blue, Dark Cherry (leaked)
Again, it’s worth noting that these design models are primarily made for case manufacturers to test accessory fit. These hands-on videos, while not a perfect representation of Apple’s final manufacturing process, give a much more accurate expectation of what the iPhone 18 Pro will look like versus static renders.
As you can already tell, the iPhone 18 Pro hype train is already going full steam ahead of the expected announcement in September, when Apple’s slabs should be joined by the first foldable iPhone (Ultra)
